Before we repaint, unless otherwise noted by the customer, we will be responsible for:
- Removing draperies, pictures, mirrors, area rugs, hardware (if possible), and switch and receptacle cover plates.
- Moving all furniture to the center of the room or the room, if possible. Cover all furniture with drop cloths.
- Taping off woodwork and tape down plastic drop cloths.
- Wrapping plastic around light fixtures, and use of masking tape to cover any hardware you can’t remove.
- Opening windows or doors as necessary to ensure good ventilation. Clean the surfaces to be painted as needed.
- We will also make sure that all gaps between walls, ceilings, crown moldings and other interior trim are filled with the appropriate non-shrink caulk products after priming the surfaces as deemed necessary.
